Amazing!
Most Westerners associate the taste of "licorice" with the anise flavoring that is prevalent in black licorice. This tea has the "real" licorice root flavor in it, which is said to be 50 times sweeter than sugar. It's an AMAZING tea. Naturally sweet and so well balanced. This one is in a class by itself. I have never called a tea "delicious", but this one truly is.

Wonderful Tea!
For all the same reasons listed by other reviewers, apply the same to me as well. This is an amazing, well rounded tea. I also love it for it's natural cleansing/balancing medicinal properties.
I originally stumbled across this tea by accident as I was searching for detoxifying teas awhile back. Problem was, all those specialized ingredients were so expensive. Then I picked up this box, read the ingredients and my jaw dropped. It had every single ingredient I was looking for in one single tea bag. I was a lover of this tea ever since.

A Visit to the Nile
I started drinking this tea again recently, can't believe I'd ever stopped.
It's soothing, exotic, delicious, full bodied, flavorful, it stops by every taste bud on my tongue to say hello, how are you, let me brighten your day.
I like milk and have a sweet tooth, but all I put is a dropper of Stevia in my mug and I am good to go.
If I could give this tea six stars, I would. This is by far one of Yogi Tea's crown jewels.

Gorgeous
I love this tea - my cello teacher brewed me a pot when I came over to her house for a lesson and I could not stop drinking it. Usually I put tons of sugar in my tea because I have a sweet tooth, but not with this tea. It is amazingly flavourful. Luckily the organic store by my house carries this or I would be devastated! Simply amazing.

Very nice tea
this is very nice tea, it may be psychological but i do feel somewhat calmer after i drink a cup. if you live in the UK the shop 'holland and barrett' are doin a special offer on yogi teas, buy one get one half price, so i got the egyptian for £2 and the aztec for £1. aztec is just as nice.

Wow!
This is the best tasting teas ever. I drink it for pleasure as often as possible at the office. I am just having a hard time locating it in the stores.

i dont realy care for licorice...BUT... i took a drink and it completly envigorized my taste buds! u dont tast much when u drink it but the after tast tickled my toungue with sweet sensations. i love this tea!

My favorite tea
If you like licorice flavor, you will love this tea. I usually use honey with most teas, but there is no need with Egyptian Licorice. It has a natural sweetness.

Morning Start
I religiously drink this at the start of each day. I live in the desert and sometimes I wake up with a dry throat. Drinking Yogi Egyptian Licorice helps start the day with a warm and naturally sweet pep. Not harsh or strong like green or black teas. Stock it!

W-O-W!
I have tried a great many teas and have found practically all of them to be very ho-hum. I want to dump sugar in it, but never do. I simply do a necessary evil for health benefits. I bought this tea yesterday because I love love love licorice, but did not expect much. Its been snowing here all day and after lunch, a warm drink sounded nice so I thought I'd give it a try. I had been chewing gum before and thought that the fabulous sweetness I was tasting was still from the gum so I actually went and brushed my teeth. As soon as I took another sip, I was absolutely amazed! This tea is scrumptious! I only have half the box left, I loved it so much I had to share with everyone! THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL TREAT! Thank You!

Great Tea
This is a great tea with just the right balance of flavors. Not too spicy, not too strong, not too sweet, but purfect as it is. I don't think you could add anything to this to make it better. What a great tea to sit and enjoy anytime of the day.

Favorite Tea Ever !
This is the only tea I want to drink. It is divine. No need for sugar, milk, cream, caffeine. They no longer offer the Egyptian Licorice Yogi tea in nearby stores and it is a crime. Most delicious tea on the planet. No competition exists!

Good
I like it, it is weird tasting and numbs your mouth a little because of the cloves. I let my friend try it and he loved it, but it is weird tasting I can see some people not being use to the taste. It doesn't really taste like licorice but it sort of like licorice in the fact that you can't really mix the taste with other things.

I am not usually much of a tea drinker...
But for this, I make a huge exception. This is the most delicious tea I've ever had - even a person who doesn't even like tea would *love* this blend. It's sweet naturally - there's no need to add sugar or milk - and has a slight heat to it that warms you to the core. It's absolutely brilliant and worth every penny you'll pay for it (It's much cheaper than anything you'll get at Starbucks and more delicious). The black licorice isn't exactly pronounced too much - if you like black licorice, you definitely will love this - but it's perfect for people who don't like licorice as well because there's only a hint without it being discernible. Without knowing it's licorice flavour, you might guess that it's cinnamon, cardamom, or some other spice that has a slow warming mouthfeel. Absolutely beautiful tea.

Sweet and yummy!
I first tried this tea after having a cup of tea similar to it at an Aveda salon. However, the tea there cost about 24 bucks for a box! I was lucky to find this in my local grocery store and for a lot less money. It has a smooth, spicy flavor with a hint of sweetness when you swallow. It's so good!

This tea is absolutely delicious..it's addictive if you ask me. Yogi makes such delicious teas, I have yet to taste a tea by Yogi that I don't like..a tea that you can drink without sugar, this it it.
