Beets are said to be rich in potent antioxidants, those natural food chemicals known to help reduce damage from stress.
And Ayurveda has been using beets for centuries to benefit hemorrhoids.
The recent studies used about 2 cups of beet juice per day, but more modest amounts, mixed with other healthy juices, could add soem serious zip to your health program.
