Diets for the Doshas

Since we are in the heat of the summer here in North America, most of us need to be following a pitta-reducing diet.

For people with high vata, the diet should be moistening, grounding, warming and relatively easy to digest.

For people with high pitta, the diet should be cooling and drying.

For people with high kapha, the diet should be warming, light and drying.
