Juicing, Part 2

Juice

Celery juice

Celery is profoundly detoxifying and widely considered to be the most cooling food available. It is very rich in alkaline organic sodium (not sodium chloride).

If celery juice seems a little to bitter to enjoy, add a few drops of maple syrup.

Parsley is another great healing juice. While the seeds, leaf, and root of this plant are all used for food, the main herbal uses come from the leaf. Parsley is a treasure trove of vitamins and minerals. It supplies boron and fluorine, minerals that support bone health.

Juicing is a great way to get parsley into your diet. Parsley juice is also diuretic, and has had a long history of use supporting the health of the urinary system.
