DIY Summertime Skin-Soother Herbal Bath

Too much sun and outdoor fun? Green tea leaf and peppermint leaf not only provide benefits in an herbal tea, they can be used externally as well to refresh & invigorate. Let your skin drink in this soothing herbal bath!

 

What you’ll need:

• ¼ cup each of dried calendula flower, green tea leaf, peppermint leaf, plantain leaf and witch hazel bark
• 2 Tbs honey
• ½ cup baking soda
• ½ cup aloe gel
• 2 drops lavender essential oil

 

The steps:

Place herbs in a large pot and cover with 1 quart boiling water. Steep 30 minutes, strain and reserve liquid. Fill bathtub with tepid water. Add herbal liquid to bath along with remaining ingredients. Relax and soak your cares away!*
