Consumer Events Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Consumer Events Manager who will be responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of Yogi events and Brand Ambassador program activities. The Consumer Events Manager will forecast, budget, organize and support the execution of Yogi participation at consumer fairs and events; as well as successfully manage the external resource team and handling of all organizational and administrative tasks associated with the Brand Ambassador program. This position will partner with community relations programs to represent Yogi values wherever we participate.


Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Research, propose, plan, budget and deliver annual events program in support of brand positioning and Marketing and Sales objectives
  • Lead booth design for this new program; including hiring and briefing selected booth vendor
  • Help identify, recruit and train field event partners and Brand Ambassadors
  • Manage, coordinate and lead set-up of events in key markets
  • Actively work events
  • Develop event program outlines, material/resource requirements, booth specifications, metrics and event report template to track every event for success measurement
  • Organizational, financial and people management related to selected fairs and events
  • Oversee demand planning, ordering, administration and maintenance of all required event materials
  • Set up a storage/warehouse location in order to plan, store and handle all necessary fair and event equipment as well as product samples
  • Organize and facilitate 1-2 Brand Ambassador meetings per year in collaboration with Sales and Brand team
  • Responsible for planning and booking personal and team travel
  • Occasional participation in support of trade show events (e.g. Expo West)
  • As needed, partner with Sales to support in-store sampling demos: Serving, demonstrating, presenting the features of the products
  • Occasionally support Sales and Marketing efforts in set-up/training/execution of product sampling programs using Brand Ambassador team or other contract resources
  • Share our passion; build brand awareness, and strengthen relationship with consumers

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting at a workstation for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to transport, move, build, set up and take down event booths
  • General assembly skills and use of hand tools (hammer, drill, screwdriver, etc.)
  • Stand for extended periods of time during events
  • Stand, walk and climb stairs on a frequent basis
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in managing, organizing and budgeting events organization or similar consumer programs
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • PR experience a plus
  • Experienced in managing people
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and independent worker
  • Strong analytical and creative thinker, thorough, punctual and detail-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
